Prime Timers is a ministry designed to reach and engage those in our congregation 55+. This ministry is rooted in Psalm 71: 17-18 which reads, "Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come."

Our specific purposes include providing places:

  • To invite those in our community to join us in ministry
  • To bring experience and maturity to our congregation
  • To grow in our discipleship
  • To provide times for fellowship and fun

The ministry meets monthly for times of fellowship that are intentional about inviting others in our community to join in. The activities include meals in our homes, musical performances at Creekside, evenings out enjoying local cultural events and hosting dinners for those who we serve in our other mission endeavors. Above all else, Prime Timers is a group where the love of Jesus is shared!



6th Annual Super Bowl and Chili Cook-Off
Sunday, February 4 at 5:30 pm

Come join us for great food and fun for our 6th annual Super Bowl and Chili Cook-Off! We’ll be judging chili from some of the best Creekside cooks.

Chili Cooks - There will be three categories—Family Chili, Hot Chili and Unusual Chili (chicken, venison, etc). Prizes will be awarded for each category with a special prize for Best in Show. Winners determined by popular vote.

Giving Opportunity - Please also consider bringing a bag of groceries for the food pantry. We particularly need these items: spaghetti noodles, canned spaghetti sauce, beef stew, canned chicken, instant potatoes, tuna helper, 1 lb dried beans, 1 lb long grain rice.
