Jason Danuser - Senior Pastor
Dr. Jason Danuser came to Creekside to serve as Senior Pastor in June of 2008. Jason and Stephanie Danuser were married in 2000. They have two sons, Wesley (born in 2005) and Luke (born in 2007). Jason has served churches in Madison County, Hart County, Elbert County, and throughout the middle Georgia area. Jason has his doctoral degree from Erskine Theological Seminary with a focus in preaching. He has his Masters of Divinity and his B.A. from Mercer University. Jason's four great loves are Jesus Christ, his family, the Church and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Kelly Beckley - Associate Pastor
Kelly has been serving in various ministry positions here at Creekside since December of 2005. She has a Masters of Divinity from The Candler School of Theology and was ordained as an Elder in Full Connection in 2016. Kelly lives in Cumming with her husband Mike, a teacher at South Forsyth High School, and her children Jaclyn, Shane and Jill. Kelly and Mike met and both graduated from The University of Georgia. In her free time, Kelly enjoys traveling and camping with her family - especially at the beach.

Jordan Thrasher - Associate Pastor
Rev. Jordan Thrasher started at Creekside in the summer of 2016. He is married to Meredith Thrasher and they have three daughters. Georgia was born in 2009, Elizabeth in 2011, and Anna in 2013. Jordan grew up the son of a United Methodist minister and criss-crossed the state but calls Athens, GA his hometown. He has served as a minister of Glenn Memorial, Chamblee First, Bold Spring in Franklin County, and as Chaplain of Reinhardt University. Jordan received his BA in History and Religion from Wofford College, his MDIV from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and hopes to receive his Doctorate of Ministry degree from the same school in May 2017 with a focus in Biblical Preaching and Proclamation. For fun, Jordan likes to run in Obstacle Course Races and play Ultimate Frisbee.

Michelle Bowling - Minister to Student and Family Ministries
As Director of Student Ministries, Michelle is responsible for overseeing all programs that are offered to our students in middle school and high school. She works with a dedicated group of volunteers who create a fun atmosphere that makes each student feel welcomed, loved and accepted. Prior to taking on this position, Michelle was the Director of Elementary Ministries at Creekside and has served as a Sunday school teacher, youth small group leader and a member of the Children’s Advisory Council. Michelle was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, but moved to Cumming with her husband Russ and daughter Grace back in 2003. In her spare time, she loves to play tennis and go fishing with her family.

Susan Brown - Minister to Children and Family Ministries
Susan comes to Creekside having served in various Children’s Ministry roles for 27 years. Her mission is for children to know the love of Jesus and accept Him for their own. She is married to Joe and has three grown children… Lauren, Joe, and David. Susan enjoys spending time with her family, music, traveling, and being anywhere her feet can be touching sand and water.

Sarah Crowe - Music Leader
Sarah is married to Chad and they have one child named Van. Their family has been involved at Creekside since 2010. They love to serve in ministry together and enjoy being a part of the Young Families Class. Sarah delights in working with children; teaching them about God and biblical principles. Also, she enjoys participating in and leading worship through singing and playing guitar. For fun, Sarah enjoys spending time with family playing games and building memories.

Anna Jordan - Nursery Coordinator
As Nursery Coordinator, Anna handles all of the responsibilities related to Creekside’s nursery. She oversees the nursery wing and its workers/volunteers for Sunday mornings and all other activities that involve childcare for children ages 4 and under. Anna is thrilled to have this opportunity to help Creekside’s children grow in Christ through their interaction with our loving teachers, volunteers and church family.

Joe Greene - Director of Sports and Facilities
Joe and his wife, Stephanie, have two children Benjamin and Tyler and live in Canton, Georgia. Joe grew up in Rome, Georgia and has been involved with the United Methodist Church all his life. Growing up, attending church and playing sports was a very important part of his life. His vision for ministry is to work with kids and parents in a church sports program that would allow him to introduce people to Christ through sports programming. Joe graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. After graduation he worked in the public recreation field with Cherokee County Parks and Recreation. In August of 1999, he moved into the field of Sports Ministry accepting the Sports Director position at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. In February of 2006 Joe joined the staff here at Creekside as the Director of Sports Ministries.

Amy Girton - Director of Creekside Christian Academy
Amy is in charge of making sure that day to day operations at Creekside Christian Academy function smoothly. Details and more details… and sharing Jesus with children.  It’s all in a day’s work. Amy and her husband Greg have been members of Creekside since 1997 and have three children; Mackenzie, Chandler and Addison. Invited to Creekside by a neighbor, they have been active members ever since. Amy has been involved in MOPS Leadership and in Women’s Ministry Leadership for the past eight years, and through those ministries has grown tremendously in her walk with Jesus Christ. Creekside is a central hub for Girton family life.

Cissy Elkins - Assistant Director of Creekside Christian Academy
Cissy first joined the Creekside staff to work with our nursery and preschool ministry and has since taken on the role of Assistant Director of CCA. Cissy and her husband Sammy have been married since 1985 and have two great boys. Corey attends South Forsyth Middle and Kyle attends Daves Creek Elementary. Cissy's enthusiasm for the children and their families is contagious and she would be the first to say that God has blessed her and her family with many wonderful friendships at Creekside.
