C.O.P.

Our largest local missions opportunity happens each July, and it happens literally in Creekside’s own back yard. Over the last eight years, our ministry to our neighbors here in Forsyth, Gwinnett, Hall and Fulton Counties has become the most looked-forward-to mission outreach we do.

C.O.P. (Community Outreach Project) is our local summer community service project, a work-oriented missions ministry serving the elderly and needy in our area. This is an opportunity for students to reach out to the community they live in and to be the hands and feet of God for those that might not know Him.

For five days each July, we organize teams of students and adults, sending them into the community. We build nurturing relationships with our clients while providing services such as yard work, cleaning, painting and minor repairs. C.O.P. is about creating lasting relationships with people who live around us. Whether it be yard work, painting, light construction jobs, or just stopping in to say “Hello,” C.O.P. is designed to build an even stronger community, one life at a time.

C.O.P. is also a full-on retreat. Each evening we get together for dinner, friendly team competition, great worship and great Biblical teaching. These are six really fast-paced days, and at the end you’ll be worn out for the sake of the Kingdom. Would you want it any other way?
